Vacation Rental Draft Ordinance Update
| Latest Action:.......... | On May 3, 2011, the Board of Supervisors took the following actions:
- Approved the draft vacation rental ordinance as recommended by staff; and
- Approved the extension of the moratorium on the establishment of new vacation rentals in the Live Oak Designated Area (LODA) only; and
- Directed staff to submit the draft ordinance to the Coastal Commission for review and possible certification.

The Coastal Commission will hold a public hearing on the draft ordinance, most likely this summer. For scheduling details contact the Coastal Commission Central Coast District Office after June 1, 2011, at (831) 427-4863. |
