Housing Advisory Commission |
The Housing Advisory Commission (HAC) is a Board of Supervisors-appointed commission consisting of 10 commissioners, 2
from each supervisorial district. The HAC normally meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 4:00 pm in the conference
room at the Aptos-La Selva Fire Protection District offices at 6934 Soquel Drive, Aptos.
The Commission has been charged with the responsibility to advise the Board on all matters related to housing in Santa Cruz County, including providing recommendations on the development of the Housing Element, advising the Board of Supervisors on the public and private housing needs of the community and conducting a continuous study of housing in the community.
